Clay Whaley

January 27, 1948- July 14, 2026

 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Clay Whaley, longtime resident of Grande Prairie, has passed away on 14 July 2026 in the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital.

 

He is predeceased by his parents John and Murray (Potter) Whaley, brother James Whaley, and daughter Michelle Whaley.  He is survived by his beloved wife Ellen (Leavitt) Whaley and daughter Mary-Ellen (Paul) Razeau. Grandchildren Joseph (Sadie), Henri and Edward.  And one great grandchild, Josie. His siblings David, Gerald, Russ, and Mary. As well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

 

Clay lived in Grande Prairie for over 50 years and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

 

Funeral to be held on Saturday 18 July 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 11212-102 St.

Visitation: 12:30 to 1pm

Service: 1pm
