Cook, James “Jim” Roger Wendell

James “Jim” Roger Wendell Cook, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019, at the QEII Hospital, at the age of 68 years.
Jim was born in Edson, AB on November 20, 1951. He was raised in Edson. His passion was his healing knowledge through his shamanistic spirituality.
Jim was a fixer. He always made everything better. He was well known for his surprise appearances. He loved music, was very athletic, and especially enjoyed badminton and swimming.
His final words of wisdom were, “Love is all that matters.”
He will be sadly missed by his mother Nora Marquis of Nelson, BC; siblings: Margaret Cook of Polson, MT, Terry Cook of Grande Prairie, Michael Cook of Seattle, WA, and Shawn Marquis of Nelson, BC; nieces and nephews Alyne Eickert, Benita Badger, Roger Landvik, Dyne Day, Candace Cook, Conrad Cook, Landon Cook, and Mia Cook; great-nieces and nephews: Natasha, Alicia, Justin, Austin, Tyler, Grace, Clark, and MacKenzie.
He was predeceased by his father Roger Cook, sister Anita Landvik, sister Sherida Cook, and brother Arleigh Marquis.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in Edson.
