Elaine Catherine Moore

September 12, 1942 – August 16, 2025

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Elaine Catherine Moore. Elaine spent the last years of her life in Prairie Lakes Seniors facility in the dementia ward. The staff at this facility treated Elaine with love and respect while they kept the country tunes playing. Sometimes, angels toil among us to provide comfort during our difficult times on this earth. The family would like to express our deepest appreciation for the amazing work they do.

Elaine is survived by her son and daughter in-law Glenn and Shelley Moore, grandchildren Megan (Chris) Lemay, Alex (Tanya) Moore, and Kaitlyn (John) Park, Son in-law Wade Morrison, grandchildren Cooper Morrison and Skyler (Jordon) Morrison, and Sister Marg Moody. Her family first attitude has been passed on to her great grandchildren Cullen, Emily, Avery, and Arlow.

She was predeceased by her daughter Cheryl Morrison, parents Rushton John “Jack” and Aileen Birnie-Browne; siblings Francis Berg, Anne Kimble, Don, Buddy, Eddy, Gerry, and Jimmy Birnie-Brown and former husband Maurice Moore.

Join Elaine’s friends and family Saturday August 23, 2025, at the DeBolt Ball Diamonds starting at noon to barbeque some bison burgers, have a visit followed by a eulogy and tributes to Elaine. We have some picnic tables but feel free to bring your lawn chair, so you spend the afternoon visiting in comfort.
