Evelyn Margaret Taylor (Nee Kaut, Nee Grams)

February 13, 1940 – March 23, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we mournfully announce the passing of Evelyn Margaret Taylor (Nee Kaut, Nee Grams) of Grande Prairie, Alberta. She passed away on March 23, 2021 at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie after a sudden illness.
Evelyn went to school at Aspen Dale. She married Bruno Kaut on June 6, 1958. Later in life, she married Tex Taylor of Lacombe, Alberta. After his passing, she resided at the Heritage Lodge for several years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and being with her family. One of her favourites was to go dancing, having a good time with other people.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Linda Abrahamson of Blackfalds AB, and Gina Croteau of Beaverlodge AB, sons Darrel Kaut of Grande Prairie AB, and Dennis Kaut of Wembley AB, as well as her sisters Rosie Nelson of Grande Prairie AB, Erna Nelson of Grande Prairie AB, Julia Moonen of Wembley AB, and Edward Grams of Wembley AB. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ryan Abrahamson, Brad Abrahamson, Jody Kruger, Lisa Croteau, Rene Camplair, Daniel Croteau, and Tyrell Kaut, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by Annie and Ed Grams, Henry Schmidke, Carl Schmidke, Norman Grams, Tex Taylor, and Bruno Kaut.
A Graveside Service will take place on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 1:00PM at the Lake Saskatoon Cemetery, Pastor Grace Kim officiating. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, attendance is by invitation only.
