Phyllis Foster (nee Binks), resident of Sexsmith, AB, formerly of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021, at Prairie Lake Hospice in Grande Prairie, at the age of 75 years.
Phyllis was born on May 3, 1946. She found great pride and joy on her acreage with her donkey, horses, dogs and cats. Her love for animals was unconditional. When she was not enjoying her acreage Phyllis took great pride in her work. Phyllis has a lot of friends and customers that became great friends. Phyllis worked 15 years with Holroyd Drugs and Shoppers Drug Mart delivering to senior’s, group homes and people in need. She also worked 15 years with Canadian Tire creating many lifelong friends with work and customers.
Phyllis’s love for family was unconditional, always stopping anything she was doing to lend a hand wherever she could. She always had a way of keeping everybody connected. The love Phyllis gave will be greatly missed.
Phyllis was kind, loving, and stood her ground with a great sense of humor. There is comfort knowing she is pain-free and the battle is now done, and that she is now resting with the rest of our loved ones up there. Phyllis’s animals that will be waiting to greet her when she arrives, will be quite the reunion.
May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the hallows of His hands.
Phyllis will be sadly missed by her daughters: Ann Foster (Doug Roach), Deanne Foster (Shaune Masse), and Tanya (Alex) Paley; grandchildren: Mikayla Crosier (Michaiah Gordon), Virgil Paley, DJ Roach, and Colton Masse; great-grandchild Adaline Gordon; brothers: Bob (Doreen) Binks and family, Denise (Cheryl) Binks and family; aunt Perl Watson; neighbors Randy and Mona Pohl; good friend Sharon Dobko; as well as many cousins, and extended family and friends.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Charlie Foster; mother Tina O’Toole, stepdad Lawrence O’Toole; as well as her dad Cyril Binks.
Phyllis will be put to rest next to Charlie Foster with a private family Memorial at the Grande Prairie Cemetery.
