April 4, 1958 – February 12, 2021

Geoff passed away suddenly on Friday, February 12. We take great comfort in knowing that his best friend Gary Argue was by his side.

Geoff was born in Saint John, New Brunswick on April 4,1958. His family moved to Calgary when he was 10 where he resided for several years. He moved to GP in the late 90s where he bought a Harley and continued his career as a mechanic. Most importantly he got married and started a family.

Geoff is survived by his two daughters, Courtney and Emma and their mother Michelle, all of GP, his parents, Grace and Leigh Walton of Invermere, BC, sister Marcia Gilbertson of Cochrane, AB, brother Ian Walton (Nancy) of Calgary, AB. Also to mourn his passing are nephew Wes Gilbertson and nieces Kendra Gilbertson and Amy Vien, all of Calgary.

A memorial service will be held on February 27, 2021 at 3pm. Due to COVID restrictions only invited guests will attend. A livestream of the service is available for those attending from home, click the link below. We invite friends to gather in vehicles in the Funeral home parking lot to show support to the family at 3:45pm.

Cremation has taken place.
