Brian Hall, a loving husband, father of two, and grandfather of five, resident of Beaverlodge, AB, passed away peacefully at the Beaverlodge Hospital on Monday, November 25, 2019, after a short battle with cancer, at the age of 64 years.
Brian was born in Beaverlodge on September 12, 1955, and resided there well into his teen years. While working in construction, he met the boss’s daughter Marilynn, and they married on April 5, 1975, in Edmonton, AB.
Brian took great pride in his work. In his younger years, he worked as a correctional officer in Fort Saskatchewan and then had a long-term career running heavy equipment. The last thirteen years were spent working for the County of Grande Prairie as a grader operator. His co-workers were truly cherished friends.
A comical joker, Brian always enjoyed putting a smile on the face of everyone around him. He had a heart of gold and took great joy in helping out with charitable events of all kinds. Brian was an avid fisherman, sport shooter, and loved spending time with family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Marilynn; sister Cheryl (John); son Jeremy (Apryl); daughter Amber (Jason); and grandchildren: Kyleigh, Stevie Rae, Ruby, Kallen, and Zoe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Brian was predeceased by his father Harold Grant Hall; mother Margaret A.J. Hall; and nephew Robert Jurek.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Wapiti Shooters Club in Grande Prairie in the spring of 2020.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Beaverlodge Hospital Foundation (Box 480, Beaverlodge, AB, T0H 0C0)
The amazing level of care and compassion they all shared at the Beaverlodge Hospital for Brian during his time there was nothing short of extraordinary. We will never forget them. A special thank you to Dr. Duta for her kindness and compassion.
