April 18, 1939 – October 13, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandpa, and friend Harold Sampert on October 13, 2020 at the age of 81 years.

Harold is survived by his beloved wife Phyliss, his children Karen (Gary) Kurys, Tracy (Ken) Konashuk, and Lyle (Jacquie) Sampert, his grandchildren Abbey Konashuk, Karley Konashuk, Peyton Sampert, and Tyler Sampert, his sister Joyce Visscher, sister-in-law Joan (Clay) Schanning, and brother-in-law Bill (Claudette) Stymiest.

He was predeceased by his parents William and Emma Sampert, his parents-in-law Byron and Minnie Stymiest, brother-in-law Robert Stymiest, sister in law Kay Stymiest, and nephew Gordon Visscher.

To know Harold was to love him and he will be missed by all those who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bear Creek Funeral Home (11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie) on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 1:00 PM. There will be a time for sharing of memories and refreshments following the service.
