Joan Hopkins passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020, at Prairie Lake Hospice in Grande Prairie, at the age of 81 years.
Joan was born February 3, 1939 in Brantford, ON. She was the youngest of 15 children born to Raymond and Elsie Mann. In 1958, she married the love of her life, Roy Hopkins. They settled in the Grande Prairie area where Joan became part of many community activities. Joan loved baking, quilting and playing bingo, but most of all, she loved her family. Spending time with her 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren was her greatest pleasure in life.
