June 25, 1944 – September 6, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of Joan Schultz on September 6, 2020 at the age of 76 years.
She was a special kind of woman. She was loving, helpful and kind. She helped where she could, and she took pleasure in doing so. Joan would give the clothes off her back if it meant you did not have to go without. She has touched a lot of people’s lives and will be remembered by many.
Joan had many hobbies; her favorite was sewing. If you wanted a quilt made, Joan would very happily make you a quilt and she would make it out of so much love it was unreal. She also took great pleasure in cross stitching and embroidery work. She also loved her word searches. You never found her without her word searches.
Joan will forever be in the heart of her son Will Schultz, daughter in law to be Kenzii Clark, granddaughter Skylie Schultz, grandson Atticus Schultz, son in law Lane Clark, and her sisters Wilhelmina and Addie.
She was pre-deceased by her former husband Warren Schultz and her mother Joan Voskuylen.
We want to invite you to a gathering of friends to celebrate the happy and full life that Joan lived. The gathering of friends will be an open house style gathering where you are welcome to visit and share stories about Joan. It will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 1pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home (11802 99 Avenue in Grande Prairie).
