Bruce Malcolm MacLennan, resident of Grande Prairie, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018, in Lac La Biche, at the age of 8 years.

Bruce was born and raised in Grande Prairie. He was a student at IV Macklin School and a member of Grande Prairie Minor Hockey.

He loved his family, was always smiling, and gave the best hugs. He enjoyed hockey, golf, quading, RC car, biking, reading, PS4, and camping.

Bruce will be sadly missed by his parents Malcolm and Nancy (nee Dickson) MacLennan; sister Emily; grandmother Anne MacLennan; uncles: William (Julie) MacLennan, Michael (Kyla) MacLennan, Duncan Stewart MacLennan, Scott (Tara) Dickson; and Sheldon Dickson; aunt Elizabeth (Iain) MacLennan; cousins: Benjamin, Olivia, Ranger, Hanna, Sophie, and Vanessa; as well as many other family, friends, and neighbours.

He was predeceased by his grandparents John MacLennan, Velna Dickson, and Raymond Dickson.

A Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 7:00-9:00pm, at Oliver’s Funeral Home in Grande Prairie (10005 107 Ave.).

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018, at 5:00pm at Oliver’s Funeral Home.
