God welcomed home his beautiful daughter, Madelaine on May 20, 2022. She was surrounded by loved ones.

Madelaine is survived by her sons Danny, Jason, Darren, and Leon Reimer, Brian (Gloria) and Darren (Abby) Chatelaine, as well as her partner, Jeff. She is also survived by her brothers Edward, Roddy, and George Wilson, her second Mother Emma Wilson, sisters Lena, Georgina, Bertha, Dorothy, Hilda, Irene, and a large extended family in Grande Cache. She is survived by her grandchildren J’Lyn, Darion, Nevaeh, Blaze, Kylie, Aspen and many more family members that she loved.

She was predeceased by her parents Harvey and Helen Wilson; sisters Evelyn (Octave) Ferguson, Lydia Napesis, Linda, Delia Wilson; her brothers Joey, Gordie, and Leo Wilson.

Madelaine was a very loving mother that dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren in an unselfish, kind, sweet way.

She loved camping at Lac St. Anne with her sisters and counted the days and got more excited each day until they finally all met and set up camp. She also loved going hunting with her nephew Gary and his son Gary Jr., berry picking with Amanda and her daughter Hannah, Jeff, Dale, and Dorothy and going on road trips to Grande Cache to visit her relatives.

Madelaine will be sadly missed.

A Viewing for Madelaine will be held on Sunday May 29th from 6-9, at Bear Creek Funeral Home 11802 99 Avenue Grande Prairie.

A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 30th at 2pm at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 10402 102 Street, Grande Prairie, AB. with interment to follow at Grovedale Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the Grovedale Hall after the interment.
