March 1, 1928 – August 15, 2021
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Sanoski, 93, a longtime resident of Eaglesham, Alberta on August 15, 2021.
Margaret loved spending time with her family and friends. She grew beautiful gardens and flowers that she, her family and friends all enjoyed. The coffee pot was always on at Margaret’s house, morning, noon and night.
Margaret is survived by her daughters: Lana Wagner, Pam Pedersen, Shelly (Alfred) Vandeligt, and Sheila (Perry)Bielert. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Todd and Terry Hoflin, Ricky and Robin Pedersen, Meagan Vandeligt, Lacey (Brent) Trarback, Leanne (Grant) Rieger, Nathan (Kylie-Ann) Vandeligt, Tyler and Kyle Bielert; great grandchildren; Robert, Stefano and Emma Hoflin, Tiara Chambers, Bentley and Taylor Trarback, Emily, Rylee and Carson Rieger, Kaden and Miller Vandeligt. Margaret is also survived by her brothers Doug Sterling and Bob (Bonnie) Sterling and her sister Mavis Cunningham, and son-in-law Roy Thomas as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Sanoski, daughter Lynn Hoflin, parents Laurel and Esther Sterling, sister Betty Thompson, brothers Brian and Don Sterling, son-in-law Larry Wagner and grandchildren Bobby and Roxanne Wagner.
A private family service will be held at Pleasant Heights Cemetery Eaglesham, Alberta on August 28, 2021.
A social gathering of family and friends will be held at Alfred and Shelly Vandeligt’s ranch at 2 pm. All are welcome to attend, dress casual and bring you lawn chair. Lunch is provided.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Bareth and the staff at Prairie Lake Hospice for the loving care and compassion shown to Margaret.
