September 13, 1950 – March 1, 2022
Robert (Bob) Lindstrom, 71, passed away peacefully in his long-time home in Webster, AB.
Bob was born in Athabasca, AB to parents, Ernest & Mavis Lindstrom, Sept 13, 1950.
You could always find Bob doing something on the acreage. Whether it was mowing lawn, getting the garden ready for mom to plant, or fixing someone’s broken down motor. He spent his working days as a power engineer for Atco Gas by day and fixing and painting vehicles by night. Even after retirement, he was always tinkering in the shop, always ready to lend a helping hand to whoever needed his knowledge. His dream project that he was working on was restoring his ’66 Plymouth Satellite Ragtop. We spent countless hours scouring the internet looking for replacement parts. He loved having his grandkids over and endlessly picking on them with a huge smile on his face. He always had a joke to tell, or something to pick on you about.
Bob was pre-deceased by his mom, Mavis in 1978.
Bob is survived by his wonderful wife, Shirley, of 50 years, his Dad Ernie (Irene), sisters, Linda (Gene), Joyce (Ivan), Son Kevin (Aimee), Daughter Kim (Dale), grandchildren, Shelby (Kevin), Jaiden (Austin), Cale (Vanessa), Sydney, Devon (Cassandra), Logan, Cole, great-grandchildren Nathan & Robin.
No service will be held at this time.
