September 7, 1963 – July 31, 2021

It is with heavy hearts, we mournfully announce the passing of Ty Brady Hiebert on July 31, 2021 in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Ty was born in Burnaby, British Columbia on September 7, 1963, the first son to Stanley and Lorna Hiebert.  He lived in several places

in his life before finally settling in Grande Prairie where he met the love of his life Miranda, and they were married on July 7, 2018.

Ty graduated from Watson Lake High School and began his career as a carpenter.  He spent the last 8 years of his life working for

Donovan Mills Cabinetry, a job he loved doing, where all of his co-workers became an extension of his family.

In Ty’s younger years he loved to ski.  He was also a BIG football fan.  He loved music and making others laugh!  He enjoyed cooking and throwing dinner parties for family and friends.  He also loved playing cards on the weekend with friends and giving away his money when he lost (which was often!).  He was the life of the party and will be missed by so many.  His smile lit up the whole world!

He will be missed dearly by his wife Miranda; daughters Bayly and Abigail; sons Kyle and Ernie; stepsons Andy (Candace) and Albert (Maggie);

grandchildren Lachlan, Jessa and Piper; his mom Lorna; brother Daron (Allison); nephews Adam and Ryan; as well as a large number of family and friends.

He was predeceased by his dad Stanley Hiebert and mother-in-law Eileen Humber.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 7th at 3pm, at 8503 90 Street.
