Emma Suzanne Whyte “Suzanne” passed away at 7:29pm, Wednesday, February 12, 2020 after a long battle with diabetic complications (kidney failure).
Suzanne was born in Swan River, MB, grew up in Mafaking and Wanless, MB, raised her family in Mackenzie, BC, and had spent the past 25 years in Grande Prairie, AB. She managed the craft and fabric department at Walmart with great pride and knowledge. She had a passion for sewing, quilting, crafting and gardening which she enjoyed well into her retirement and loved to share her knowledge, tips and secrets.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years John Whyte; daughter Tanis Whyte, granddaughter Colleen, grandson Karter, granddaughter Veronica and grandson Antoine; daughter Yolanda Whyte and grandsons Elijah Woods son Isaac Woods; son Vincent (Lori) Whyte and granddaughter Paige; brother Gibert (Dawn) Pfund; sister Betty (Ramond) Nolette; and brother Peter (Monique) Pfund.
Suzanne was predeceased by her father Joe Pfund and mother Blanche Pfund.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering. Rest in Peace beautiful lady.
