July 5, 1948 – August 14, 2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William Garth Love. Garth went to be with his Saviour on August 14,2022 at Grande Prairie Regional Hospital at the age of 74.

Garth attended school at Teepee Creek, then went to complete secondary schooling to become a Parts Person which he excelled at for many years. He worked for Co-Op Implements for may years then later became a part owner of Grande Equipment. He then went on to work at Weatherford Global/Universal Compressions as a partsman until his career ended in 2002 due to health issues.

He loved camping, wood working, music festivals, bingo and travelling.

He leaves to mourn his wife Sharon of 35 years, children: Dawn Covi (Dave), Robin Love, David E., Lynnette Zerke and Randy Zerke. grandchildren: Daniel, Aaron, Hailey, Jenna, Spencer, and Athen and great grandson Keiran, sisters: Darlene Cooke and Gloria Golnick, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Garth was predeceased by his parents George and Rene Love, Aunt Vera and sister Donna Cooke.

Funeral services will take place Monday,  August 22,2022 @ 1:00 pm at Bear Creek Funeral Home., 11802 99 Avenue, Grande Prairie.  Viewing will be prior to service. Interment to follow at Grande Prairie Cemetery. Lunch to follow interment service.
