Fire crews respond to multiple tanker trucks on fire

The Grande Prairie fire department was called to the city’s west side around 11:30 p.m. Good Friday to multiple tanker trucks on fire.

When the two engines, one ladder and one chief unit arrived, flames were visible on the exterior of multiple tanker units and two truck and trailer units.

No occupants were at the scene and the the fire department is investigating what caused the fire.
