Organizers call mixed doubles event a huge success

Mar 25, 2018 | 10:00 AM

A total of 16 teams took part in a mixed doubles curling bonspiel on Saturday at the Grande Prairie Curling Club.

The team of Kyle Reynolds and former world junior women’s champ Kelsey Rocque took top spot, beating Matt Bordain and Janais DeJong in the final.

GP Curling Club General Manager Candace Boechler was very happy with how the event went.

She says they are planning for at least one, and possibly two, mixed doubles events for next season.
