Yaremko and Americans earn split in Everett

Spirit River’s Nolan Yaremko and the Tri-City Americans kicked off their Western Conference Final series with the Everett Silvertips over the weekend.

Friday night the Americans dropped their first game of the playoffs, losing 3-2 in Everett.

However, Tri-City would bounce back on Saturday with a 5-3 win to tie the series at one.

Now the series shifts back to Tri-City for games three and four.

The Americans are undefeated at home during this year’s playoff run with a perfect 4-0 record.

Game three between the two clubs is Monday night.

Yaremko has yet to record a point in the series so far against Everett but has compiled 6 goals and 6 assists during the post-season.
