Registration for the 2024 Summer season at Camp Tamarack is open February 13th. REGISTER HERE   Camp Tamarack strives to provide an inclusive and barrier free outdoor camping experience through accessible, fun-filled and innovative programs. Our safe and positive environment nurtures personal and social growth by allowing individuals to connect to nature and develop physically, socially, spiritually and emotionally. Through this we hope to enhance the quality of life of all participants and create positive opportunities to discover one’s potential.

The Young at Art Youth Photography Contest hosted by T. Sedore Photography, presented by the Pomeroy Hotel & Conference Centre, is now accepting submisssions.  ENTER HERE   Rules 1. Photo must have been taken no earlier than Jan 1, 2023. 2. Any editing must be done by the student. 3. No watermarks or text can be included on the image entry. 4. Entries must be in by 4:00pm May 31, 2024. 5. Images should be sent in JPG format in highest resolution possible. (If sending from a phone please check settings to ensure it is not reducing image size. Small file sizes may not be printable and will affect quality for judging) 6. One entry per student. Grande Prairie will be hosting provincials for the Alberta Drama Festival Association on May 18th and 19th at the KMSC Law Performing Arts Theatre.  More info HERE or contact Grande Prairie Live Theatre.   You are in for a live theatre treat May 18 at 1pm & 7pm and May 19 at 1pm. The Alberta Provincial Adult One Act Play Festival of Champions presented by the Alberta Drama Festival Association at the KMSC Law Performing Arts Theatre. Hosted by Grande Prairie Live Theatre. You will be impressed and entertained by the best plays from 9 Regional ADFA One Act Play Festivals. All vying to be named the Outstanding Play, Outstanding New Work, Outstanding Director, Outstanding Performer, Outstanding Performer and Outstanding Technical Merit. North of Sexsmith, take in the 10th annual Show & Shine at Webster Community Hall on Saturday, May 25th. Free admission for spectators. $15 entry per auto entry. Doors open 10am to 3pm.
