So many great ideas tips to share in this week’s Your Life, Unlimited radio show, it was chalk full of learning and inspiration!

First up in the spirit of the month of LOVE was a few tips for yours truely to keep your love relationship in top shape. Three quick ideas you can do this week:

1) Be happy to see them when they come home, stop what you are doing, get off the computer or the couch and greet them with a 3 second kiss!
2) Everything in your head does not need to be said. I know you think you will explode but you won’t, shhhhh, once in a while.
3) Let them be right every now and again, you don’t always have to prove your point. Let them be right, it will make them happy and then you will be happier, too.

Next up was Bill (56) and Jason (17) Munkel, founders of the youtube channel “father son gaming.” In what was their first radio interview but surely not their last, this inspiring father-son team gives some solid relationship advice as they talk about their journey creating something very special to solidify their bond.
The take- away message here is – Explore what your kid loves, even if you don’t particularly love it, be apart of their world and it will pay back great dividends!

Last but surely not least was Tara Brouseau- Snider. She is the Executive Director of the Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba who provided some startling stats such as; 20%of kids have a mood disorder and 70-90% of people who have a mood disorder will not get help. Wow. I love that support is available for not only the person suffering, but also for the families – who suffer as well.

As she went through some of the many, many signs of mental illness the underlying message is clear – if a behaviour is abnormal for you (or someone you know), please go (or encourage them to go) see a doctor. Please visit www.mooddisordersmanitoba.com or google mood disorder support in your area. There is always help – never stop looking for it.
