Pearcy retiring as Chamber CEO

After a dozen years on the job, Dan Pearcy has decided to retire as CEO of the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce.

“This timeline is what my wife and I have had in mind for about three years now, so it’s just sticking with our plan that we set out as a couple.”

Pearcy will officially step away at the end of June.

We asked him what stands out for him during his time on the job.

“Grande Prairie is such a dynamic place. During that time, we’ve seen two down-cycles in the economy and the community bounces back and comes out of that leading the country in economic development and growth. Just the resilience of this community and how hard people work here to make it such a great place to live.”
