Former Saskatchewan Roughriders player acquitted on drug charge
WINNIPEG — A former player with the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders has been found not guilty of possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.
Jordan Reaves held his face in his hands before breaking into tears in a Winnipeg courtroom on Wednesday.
The charge against the defensive lineman stemmed from a traffic stop in Winnipeg in November 2014.
Reaves was arrested along with a second man when cocaine was found inside the car.
