Slightly above average snowfall in Grande Prairie this winter
With sunshine pouring into our region this week and spring on the horizon, the snow which the region has experienced is starting to disappear.
Most residents felt this year was especially bad when it came to the white stuff, but as Meteorologist Josh Classen explained, it wasn’t as bad as most think.
” No record snowfall. In fact, it’s not even the most snow in the last ten years. You only have to go back to the winter of 2014-2015 to have more snow. “
Since October, Grande Prairie has received 164 cm of snow.
