Mar 29, 2018 | 7:45 AM

It’s going to be a busy four days in Fort St.John as they host Alberta Junior B Provincials.

The tournament begins today with four games on the schedule, and both NWJHL teams taking to the ice.

For the host Fort St.John Huskies, they begin their journey to a Provincial title Thursday night against Coaldale.

” Wainwright is the defending Western Champions. We know they have only lost three games all year. Coaldale is coming in very emotional and they should put up a great fight, and Wetaskiwin is a two time Champion of the Capital league and has placed third the last two years at Provincials, ” shared President of the Fort St.John Huskies, Michael Basco.

The format will see the eight teams divided into two pools, and the top two from each pool will make the playoff round Saturday night.

The host Huskies are in a pool with the Coaldale Vipers, Wainright Bisons, and Wetaskiwin Icemen.

The North Peace Navigators, on the other hand, will be the other NWJHL team in the tournament. They will be in a pool with Beverly, Red Deer, and Calgary.

Round robin play begins Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. local time when Red Deer face Calgary.

North Peace will battle Beverly at 4:15 p.m and Fort St.John meets Coaldale at 8:00 p.m.
