Art Gallery of Grande Prairie getting more use
The creative side of the community is showing itself as the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie continues to increase the number of events and exhibitions it holds.
Executive Director Jeff Erbach says the Peace Region is a ground-swell of opportunity.
“Between the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum, the Centre for Creative Arts, the Grant Berg Gallery, the library, the Grande Prairie Live Theatre, and a whole range of other arts and cultural aspects in the community, it is no wonder that Expedia.ca listed Grande Prairie as one of the top destinations for millennials,” said Erbach.
Over the last three years, Erbach says the number of exhibitions coming through has almost doubled, averaging now at 12 to 15 a year.
