Muskoseepi Park Re-Opens

Muskoseepi Park, including the Ernie Radbourne Pavilion and Grande Prairie Museum, has been re-opened to regular operations.

Water levels in the Bear Creek do remain high though, and residents are urged to remain on asphalt trails within the park.

It is expected to take several days to complete a detailed inspection of the entire Bear Creek corridor.

” A large evacuation of Muskoseepi Park was completed in recording time, while City staff managed the flash water flows passing through the spillway,” stated Horacio Galanti, Director of Infrastructure and Protective Services.

The Bear Creek Reservoir will continue to be monitored for the next several days until the water levels are balanced.
