Stevie Wonder plans shows to promote love, stop hate

May 10, 2018 | 2:23 PM

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Stevie Wonder says he plans to play a series of shows in the coming months to celebrate life, love and music and push back against troubled times.

He gave no specifics other than saying shows in Las Vegas will be in the mix, and that he also hopes to have his long-in-the-works album “Through The Eyes of Wonder” done before 2018 ends.

The 67-year-old legend made the announcements during a show for friends, fans and fellow musicians that ran into the early hours of Thursday at the tiny Peppermint Club in West Hollywood.

His set ran for over two hours and included hits like “My Cherie Amour” and “Living for the City.”
