After a couple of days of no ball due to mother nature, the Wheatbelt Baseball League resumed Wednesday night with one game on the schedule.
The Peace River Stampeders earned a 7-6 win at home over the Grimshaw Huskies.
The contest would need extra innings as the clubs were tied at 5 after 7 innings.
Grimshaw would take a 6-5 advantage in the top half of the 8th, but the Stamps wouldn’t go away as they were able to deposit two runs in their half of the inning for the walk-off victory.
