Charges laid after woman seriously injured in dog attack
Few details have been released, but a man and a woman have been charged after another woman was viscously attacked by a pair of dogs in Grande Prairie earlier this month.
When it happened June 5, one of the two dogs was detained by officers that day. The other was on the loose until it was captured and euthanized by RCMP early last Saturday.
“One dog was taken care of by the RCMP. I am not going to comment on what happened with the RCMP because that is their business,” said Ross Gear with Enforcement Services. “In relation to the investigation, two people from Grande Prairie have been charged; a man and a woman. There were two dogs involved in the alleged attack, one was owned by a man, one was owned by a woman.”
They are both due in court later this summer.
