The Wheatbelt Baseball League regular season resumed Monday evening in Peace River where the Stampeders entertained the Manning Mets.
Unfortunately for Manning, it was anything but entertaining as the club fell 8-1 to the Stampeders.
Peace River has now won four games in a row to propel them up the league standings into a tie for 1st place.
League action resumes Tuesday night as the County Brewers hit the road to Rycroft for a meeting with the Rage.
First pitch is at 7:15 p.m.
