Grande Prairie firefighters deployed to BC

Twenty firefighters from Grande Prairie, plus an area representative, are going to BC to help battle wildfires in that province.
 
The group left for the Prince George Fire Centre Thursday.
 
It is not known how long they will be there.
 
Alberta Agriculture and Forestry says the wildfire hazard for the Grande Prairie Forest Area is rated as moderate. Some areas did not get as much rain as others.
