Diligent search tracks source of mystery stink in Calgary restaurant
CALGARY — Utility workers have managed to track down the source of a mysterious gas-like odour that’s been lingering in a Calgary Dairy Queen restaurant for about three years.
Owner Sujad Bandali issued a call earlier this week for anyone who could identify the foul smell that’s been plaguing the business.
Crews from Atco and the Calgary Fire Department tested the air several times but couldn’t find any problem.
Frustrated, Bandali turned to social media, offering free Blizzards every week for a year to any person who could locate the stink.
