Yaremko named Captain of the Tri-City Americans

Spirit River product Nolan Yaremko is set to enter his final season of Junior Hockey, and Monday the Tri-City Americans announced that the four-year veteran will be the clubs Captain.

Yaremko will wear the Captain “C” while Michael Rasmussen is away with the Detroit Red Wings.

The Spirit River native had his most productive year last season when he racked up 22 goals and 34 assists in 70 games.

Yaremko and the Americans will open up pre-season play on August 31st when they travel to Everett to battle the Silvertips.
