SASKATOON – A Saskatoon woman is recovering after losing a finger on a waterslide at the West Edmonton Mall.
Claire Clark was celebrating her granddaughter’s birthday at the mall’s water park she decided to take a ride on a slide called the Corkscrew.
On her way down she was grabbing something and got snagged and says her finger was literally ripped off.
Clark’s 28-year-old daughter found the finger and pointed it out to a lifeguard, who dove into the pool to retrieve it and the ring.
