Rage take 2-1 series lead at home

Wheatbelt Baseball League playoffs resumed Thursday night in Rycroft as the Rage hosted the County Brewers.

Game 3 of the Wheatbelt semi-final series was another low scoring affair between the two clubs which saw the teams combine for just 7 hits.

The lone run came in the bottom of the 7th when the Rage broke through to claim the contest 1-0.

With the win, the Rage now lead the best of five series 2-1 and will have a chance to punch their ticket to the league final on Tuesday.

The other league semi-final will wrap up Friday night in Peace River as the Stampeders host the Manning Mets in Game 5.
