It was a busy weekend in the North Peace Hockey League as five games were scheduled between Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, the Dawson Creek Canucks and Fort St.John Flyers played a thrilling contest in Fort St.John which saw the Canucks earn a 9-7 win.

Elsewhere, it was the Grande Prairie Athletics getting by the Falher Pirates 7-3.

Three games were scheduled for Saturday, but only two transpired.

The Grande Prairie Athletics doubled up the High Prairie Regals 8-4, and Dawson Creek got by Manning 5-2.
