EDMONTON – Officials say no matter who wins the Grey Cup game on Sunday the event is bound to boost Edmonton’s economy.
About 50,000 people are to attend the CFL championship, including many from outside the city and province.
Edmonton Economic Development estimates an extra 64 million dollars will be spent because of the football game.
The Downtown Business Association says the hotels in the city’s core are all booked.
