Freezing rain warning issued

Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for a big chunk of the Peace Country.

The Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Valleyview, Fairview, Peace River, High Prairie, and Manning areas are all included. There is also a warning out for the High Level, Fort Vermilion. and Rainbow Lake areas.

The weather office says rain is expected to start Monday morning and end Monday evening.

It cautions that roads, sidewalks, and parking lots will all be icy and slippery.

Environment Canada is asking drivers to slow down and drive according to the conditions.
