Town of Grande Cache to dissolve January 1

Grande Cache will no longer be a stand-alone municipality as of New Year’s Day.
 
The provincial cabinet has approved an Order in Council, officially dissolving the Town and making it part of the MD of Greenview.
 
It will be known as the Hamlet of Grande Cache.
 
Back in September, 97 percent of the 1100 people who cast a ballot voted in favour of dissolution.
