Athletics & Canucks collide in battle for top spot in NPHL

The North Peace Hockey League week will kick off Thursday night in a big way as the Grande Prairie Athletics head to Dawson Creek for a meeting with the undefeated Canucks.

This is one of two games on the schedule Thursday evening.

This will be the 2nd meeting of the season between the Canucks and Athletics, with Dawson Creek claiming the first meeting of the year 3-2 in overtime.

1st place in the West division will also be on the line as the two clubs are separated by just one point.

Elsewhere, the High Prairie Regals will be eyeing their first win of the season when they hit the road to Grimshaw for a match-up with the Huskies.
