GPAC Midget AAA Storm earn 3 out of 4 points on the road this weekend

It was a busy weekend for both the Grande Peace Ernies Sports Midget AAA Storm and the Golden Arrow Bantam AAA Storm as they both played a pair of contests.

The Midget AAA Storm embarked on another southern road trip, but this time it was more successful.

Saturday, they earned an impressive 4-2 win over Okotoks, and then followed it up with a 3-3 tie against Red Deer on Sunday.

Following their 3 point weekend, the Midget AAA Storm are 9-7-4 on the year and are in a tie for 2nd place with St.Albert in the North division.

They will be back on the ice Saturday when they host the Calgary Royals.

The Golden Arrow Bantam AAA Storm’s weekend on the other hand was not as good.

They dropped both of their home games to the Fort Saskatchewan Rangers falling 11-4 Saturday and 11-0 Sunday.

They will have next weekend off and will return to the ice for league play on December 14th.
