Canucks extend lead at the top of the NPHL standings

For the 2nd time in as many weeks the Dawson Creek Canucks and the Grande Prairie Athletics battled it out in a meeting of the top two teams in the North Peace Hockey League.
However, the result this time around was different.
The visiting Dawson Creek Canucks earned a 6-3 road win over the Athletics to give themselves a 3-point lead at the top of the division standings.
Elsewhere Thursday night, the Falher Pirates earned a 6-5 win at home over the High Prairie Regals.
