Champions crowned as GPRC Senior High Classic wraps up

The 2018 GPRC Senior High basketball Classic wrapped up on Saturday.
North Peace Secondary school from Fort St John took the girls title with a 61-41 win over Menno Simons Community School from Cleardale.
Third place went to Charles Spencer, who beat Ecole Sir John Franklin school for the bronze medal.
Meanwhile, Grande Prairie Composite won the boys final, beating Peace Wapiti 92-71.
The third place game went to North Peace Secondary, who knocked off St. Joe’s 86-67.
