Extreme cold continues in Grande Prairie region

We are still in a deep freeze.
 
Grande Prairie, Beaverlodge, Valleyview and surrounding areas remain under an extreme cold warning today, with wind chills close to -50C this morning,
 
Frostbite can develop in just a matter of minutes.
 
The cold arctic air is expected to remain through tomorrow morning before some moderation tomorrow afternoon.

According to Environment Canada, it will feel like -30 tomorrow with the wind chill, Friday’s high is -24 and Saturday’s is -21.  It’s expected to warm up a bit for Sunday with a high of -10.
