Hader named to AJHL All-Academic Team

Thursday the Alberta Junior Hockey League announced their annual All-Academic team for the 2018-2019 season.

Each team in the AJHL recognizes one player as part of the initiative which highlights the player for having commendable dedication to their studies at either high school or post-secondary level.

Jonathan Hader received the honour by being named to the team from the Grande Prairie Storm.

In conjunction with the Inter Pipeline All-Academic team, one of the sixteen players named will receive a $1,500 scholarship to their post-secondary education.

The scholarship is awarded to the player deemed the most deserving based on their qualities in leadership, sportsmanship, citizenship, and dedication.
