Powell 2-0, Vavrek 0-2 at provincial mixed

Graham Powell’s rink is 2-0 heading into the this afternoon’s draw at the provincial mixed curling championship.

He beat Edmonton’s Craig MacAlpine 9-2 last night and will face another 2-0 team, Albert Gerdung’s rink from Brooks, this afternoon.

Gerdung beat Daylen Vavrek 9-1 last night.

Vavrek is now 0-2 and will play 2-0 Tyler Pfeiffer of St. Albert this afternoon.
