Stairs at Muskoseepi Park temporarily closed

The City of Grande Prairie is letting the public know that beginning today, the wooden stairs leading into Muskoseepi Park will be closed.

The staircase is located at the end of 103 Avenue by St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

In a release, the City says the closure is due to work being done on a sewer line in the area and that as a safety precaution, the site will be fenced off to the public.

The stairs are scheduled to re-open on Saturday, April 6.

Alternative entrances to the park are to be used during this period.

The City is asking that all trail users obey posted construction signage and that they apologize for the inconvenience and thank the public for their cooperation in advance.
