Alberta Election: Where the leaders are on April 2

Calgary and area will be seeing a lot of campaigning today, as many party leaders are in or around the city making platform announcements. Here is where they will be on April 2 along the campaign trail (With files from The Canadian Press):

NDP Leader Rachel Notley will be in Calgary making an announcement at The Grand Hotel at 10 a.m. The announcement can be livestreamed at facebook.com/rachelnotley

Alberta Party Leader Stephen Mandel is in Calgary as well, where he is announcing his party’s plan to get Alberta oil to the Alaskan coast.

Also in Calgary, Alberta Liberal Leader David Khan will be announcing a mental-health and addictions policy at 12:30 p.m.

Jason Kenney will be just southwest of Calgary in Turner Valley, where he will unveil the UCP’s plan to create jobs in the energy sector at 11 a.m.

Freedom Conservative Party leader Derek Fildebrandt will be speaking at an engagement event in Langdon, part of his home riding in Chestermere-Strathmore.
